I seem to be going around in circles trying to find where "here" is - the "here" where you write an intro. Is that here? and if it is here I'd just like to say hello and all the best to everyone and BM for providing this space of positivity.

Hi everyone,
I am really new on trading, just reading Murphy's book and downloaded NT to start simulating before giving the step.
I am working as an engineer in the wireless telecom industry so I am just spending my free time on this.
All the same I am willing to make trading my life style.

THanks Big Mike for this great blog.

regards!
Guillermo/

Just want to start out by saying this is an awesome site. Seems like there is a wealth of information and experience here.

I am somewhat new to trading. Been trading less than a year now, but I have been watching the markets for years. I feel like God has blessed me with the willingness to learn and I want to learn all that I can. I have been fairly successful in my trading so far. I concentrate on swing trading in stocks I feel are long positions. Sometimes I like commodities when I feel there is oversold value. I am currently not a day trader of any kind. I hope to someday opperate in some degree of day trading fashion. I am committed to trading as ethically as possible. Thank you for the opportunity to use this site.

Aloha All,

Same old story here, trading for years with limited success, lost time and money, working on at least my 3rd account.
Haven't traded live for a year. Working on myself and trying to work on a trading system with sim trading.
Having a hard time finding a system or creating one I like. Found Big Mikes site looking for indicators for ninja.
I know now that I am my own answer, trading has taught a life time of lessons.

Mahalo Mike and everyone God Bless

Ok,

Hope this works. This is my first post. I use pice action and a system I call "Trading The Pokes".

A POKE short on a 5 min chart is a candle the has a wick that pops above my 10 period SMA of the highs and then closes below. I short on the close below the 10 EMA also looking for a trend line break of Woodies CCI.

A POKE long on a 5 min chart is a candle the has a tail that pops below my 8 period SMA of the lows and then closes above. I long on the close above the 8 EMA also looking for a trend line break of Woodies CCI.

This system not onlt gets you in at the begining of a trend but keeps you in the trend for a majority of the run. Sometimes you can stay in the trade untill you get a signal to reverse.

Info on the channel created by the EMAs can be found in many Jake Bernstien books. Woodies CCI info is all over the web. Combining the two is my idea. I have a Skype room at eddiestrade. All are welcome.

There is one trade I passed on, do you see it. I will give you a hint. It was a short. I will tell you why I passed if you can fine it.

Hello to Everyone and big thanks to Mike for this forum.
I am new at trading futures. I am trading intraday, the ES and Crude Oil, I use candlesticks, Ichimoku clouds and VSA. The hardest part for me is letting go of my fear from past losses and trusting what I see, I am stuck in analysis paralysis even when I know I should place the trade.
Hoping to learn and share with others what works for me.
