Hello Mike & Everyone Else /

Just wanted to say hello, and thanks for providing this resource - looking forward to interacting with folks. I've just recently decided to change from trading options to trading/scalping the ES, so I'm going to have lots of questions about this instrument - I found this forum following a Google search on displaying the NYSE tic on ToS!

Best of luck to all -

Cheers - tDH

Hello to all, and thanks for the great resource here. I am a long time trader, but very new to futures. Most of my experience is in equities and options, which I've traded for many years, primarily in swing-trading fashion. I am interested in learning to day-trade futures and I recognize it's very different, so I'm hoping to learn something from the group here.

Hi everyone

i started trading a long time ago in 2001.
A lot of stuff went wrong a lot of times of course.

now my focusis shifting in a direction of automatic trading.

it is exactly what i always wanted.
I started with TD Ameritrade software Strategy Desk which was simple and powerfull,
now I am learning to script in TOS (although Ameritrade has another software called Prodigio) later I want to learn Ninja Trader. So I am quite confused about different software and lack of god tutorials.

Hope to be able to share knowledge and meet some nice people here.

Good day and good trading everyone.

Hi Everyone,

I have been trading for a long time now, since end of the 90's and have been trading most things tradable. I was until recently a part-time trader, but decided to go fulltime a few months ago.

With a background in mathematics and programming I have a analytical approach to trading and uses as different software to help me , this is especially needed for me as I lack discipline when I trade discretionary.

I am constantly working on systems and improving on existing methods as I find this interesting - its more rare i adapt new methods in my day-to-day trading but I am always open to novel ideas.

My current methods include neural networks and different kinds of signal processing.

I hope to share ideas in this forum and pick up on market psychology and discretionary trading methods.

Hi Mike and all:

I am a new trader who has spent to much money on to many systems with nothong to really show for it. I have blown one small account.

I intend to master trading, starting with FOREX because of its small capital requirements to get started. I intend to expand to other markets as my capital base grows.

My inital goal is to get to a point that I am capable of replacing my wife and my salaries so that we both can quit/retire from our current careers. The plan is for her to retire first, but it would be nice if we could to it at the same time. After that, it is to build up retirement accounts and trust accounts for our son and grandkids.

I am interested in learningmore about automated tradingsolutions. While I have spent a lot of money on them and have not had a lot of sucess so far. I believe that ittherre can be goood automated systems built.

I am looking forward to shring and learning on this forum, Although, i admit it will be more learning than sharing in the beginning.

Thanks,

G.E.

Hello Mike and other followers,

I am trading Forex for the past couple of years, but I am not really an expert in it. My financial education was not really extended into that area. I would like to join your forum and exchange ideas, strategies and practice with the platforms, pairs and signal providers.

Pleasure to be part of the forum.

Happy trading to all!!
