Thanks Mike & community, for inclusion in this forum.
I'm a newbie to the world of trading, the financial world fascinates me very much and invest every spare minute in my hobby.
I find that exchange of experiences in trading are very important. Complements the knowledge gained from Traiding books.

Heff here..glad to be on the forum.
I'm a newbie trader ready to reach that new level no matter how long it takes...
Been on a demo account for 3 months now... learned that scalping is not my cup of tea..
Been trading for about three years. Devastated account to half twice and waited to refund again while trading in sim. I continue to trade in sim for the most part. I trade a few long position option trades but have to wait a month or more to see any real profit if at all. I've been through a bunch of scamming trading education materials and signal services. Very bitter about it. Finally combined a few of better systems I bought. Now profitable on most of my small short sim trades mostly on a scalping basis, but big drawdown if not watching option positions carefully. I sometimes dare to try to daytrade and win a point or so live. But I have not gone back to full on live daytrading in months.
I think it's better to spend enough time and resources to find a couple of good systems that work rather than wasting a lot of time trying to make a scam system work. To me a good system works 65% of the time. A scam system is 20% or less. Learn to identify scam presentations, webinars, and systems.
After making big loss i decided to leave trading but on net i read about this forum i registered here. I am not a full time trader but my wish to become it. Right now my goal is learning about trading system strategy and everything which make me a good trader.Hope i am at the right place.Sorry i am not good in english but i try my best. Also i will contribute if possible or if i have something new.My wishes to you all the Moderators Traders fellow members of this wonderful forum.Happy trading. - Danny.

Thanks: 62 given,
its time to introduce myself after being a member for 3 weeks now.
im from germany, northrhine-westphalia, living nearby to duesseldorf. my interest in trading and everything being relevant to this began in 2005. i was stupid enough to believe i could make $$$ just following so called "signale services". it took some time, not that much, but it took time to check that the vendor of those signals made the money i paid to him. i was not able to follow those signals, no one was able. i assume even the vendor wasnt able. i have met my first rubbish in this industry.
i became a member of TTZ ( i saw they have allready been reviewed here). i learned a lot, thats really true. their community is great, the day is passing very fast. most of the called trades have been LMT orders. but just to clarify, TTZ is no call-room and dont expect you will make $$$ just following signals. i learned that allready during my trial with them. i learned rather an easy approach with 3 setups embedded in the market profile. i still know them but i had also to learn that im probably not adapted for hiting the trigger, even if i see those easy to follow setups. fortunatelly i havent burned my accounts so far.
alltough i have the sense that i wasnt born for discretionary trading i began searching for automated strategies. for 2 years i worked with investox offering a big bunch of things ranging from neural networks, generic optimization (GA), regular indicators and the possibility to code your own strategiy in a special coding language. very nice software if you have talent to learn this particular language. a newbie like me was tempted to try to buy knowledge from one of the both vendors offering schoolings or whole trading systems. i tried and paid both w/o success. the trading systems are coded with 10-20 indicators and each indicator has a huge parameter range i had to optimize with GA. i got in contact with stuff like curvefitting etc. pp. my personal learning curve was great. my trading success was low. i still havent burned my account because i still was extremely cautious. but on the other hand i paid a lot of money to learn all the things. im sure it another kind of account burning.
months later i opened accounts with a broker where i was able to participate in automated strategies because i had no more passion to spend money for anything like schoolarship, systems containing dozens of indicators i have to optimize and any kind of call room or stuff like this.
what do you expect happened to my accounts? i made my first mistake regarding automated strategies. i left one programm because i started into a drawdown. this system is up today but w/o me. i took the loss
another system was hit by the flash crash last year. unfortunately this system was long when the S&P and Dow dropped 10% in minutes and no single stop was able to save any dollar.
a third system made 110% and went into a drawdown. the vendor stoped it to evaluate it. im excited and waiting for any result.
but however, im still very interested in everything regarding trading and automated strategies. unfortunatelly murphys law got me the tough way.
i think that is all i can tell so far.
in the meanwhile i dealt with the approach of cynthia kase and other stuff. im curious if i ever will reach a goal.
thats my story so far .. in a short version.
bit let me say some words about his community. you are really awesome here. in all the years i havent seen any other community like this one here. i had never expected that there are traderz out there who shares their experiences, their methods. i must say that im overwhelmed. this forum and the blog is absolutely great. i love the webinars, your comments, your suggestions, your warnings and every further thread. in havent seen such a site in all my years of hunt.
mike and all others, pls proceed this way. im very impressed, i think i more than that.
