Hi All - I'm just starting to get serious about my trading and came across this site. Looks great. Have been demo'ed Forex etc and did some stock trading but right now am focussing on learning ES and using Ninja as a platform. Looking forward to participating and learning from others who are further into the journey than I am.

Cheers

Hello from Yorktown, VA. I have been trading futures and like Mike have lost enough money to make you cry. I have been successful the last few year. I have taken the summer off to be with my granddaughter and in the process I am taking a look at Ninja have been using Esignal and Ensign. I wanted to make things simpler so I thought I would give Ninja a look. Some of the charts you guys have created look interesting. I look forward to sharing with you in the near future.

Hi everybody,
glad to join your group, looks like you're doing useful things with Ninja indicators.
I am a student of Market Profile since a couple of years, find it v useful, couldn't imagine trading without it.
Also Volume stuff, in particular Delta.
Look forward to collaborations,
regards,
Peter

Hello. The world of work ethics: work hard->achieve->save-> invest is gone. Credit expansion and chronic inflation turns everyone into a speculator. I, for one, like more the sewers, gutters and interstices of the trading world to the speculators of the world of politics, academia or finance. As for entrepreneurship, I do not like being parasited upon or spinned about by bureaucrats. So, I just want to see if this is for me. Thanks for the forum. M.

Hello, I have been trading for about 10 years and switched to the ES a couple of years ago. I have just switched to Ninjatrader from Esignal and it seems Ninja is more robust than I thought. You guy have come up with some good looking indicators.

Peter2150,

Did you finally realize the "ETS" system is a great way to lose money? You are on the right track now, this is a good place to learn how to trade correctly.

Hi, I am new here today (Sat, 8 1 09)...Mike I have had to register twice for some reason.

Been trading the ES for about 18 months. Doing OK at it...still a net net in the hole as I made some terrible entries last year. This year, I am up.

Been using the ECO2NEW2 indicator with some luck and some tweaks. I am using Ninja as a feed chart only and use TOS as my entry platform as their slippage is less than what I saw with other feeds.

I like to enter with One contract and double down if I enter badly but then come back after a slight pullback.

I have been studying Al Brooks' methods for about 6 months now and use his Pull-back entry method from HOPEFUL high or low range waves....I try to take W3 (brooks pullback after W0 to W1 and then W2) and enter the big Elliott wave entry W3 to W4....for some good swings.

I will go break-even plus 4 after 6 ticks of profit with an initial stop loss of 6 to 8 ticks. I will take no more than 8 ticks of heat and that will usually be one tick above the last swing high point or low point.

I am looking forward to learning here.

Thanked by:
