Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Hi

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I have to say that it's a great site!

I only trade currencies and most of my indicators are the one's created by T. DeMark. I like the fact that everything is objective and scientifique with them.
When it's subjective your emotions can make the trading decisions for you. When it's objective they still can but you know atleast that they're wrong and why ^^; self-control and discipline become much easier.

Anyways happy to have joined...

RL

Hi,

This is not the place to ask (wrong thread).

Repost your question here:
https://futures.io/elite-circle/1342-volume-ladder-ninjatrader.html

And if possible, attach a screenshot to the post. Someone will help you out.

Mike

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
6)

Hi BMT

Hi Everyone,

I have been trading futures for a little over a year now and have had some success followed by losses. I am glad to have found this site and look forward to being part of futures.io (formerly BMT) community.

Thanks Mike for having this forum.

John

Hello, first post to introduce myself. I just discovered this universe of trading a month ago so being green, i have nothing much of any value to add to the conversation, rather i am full of questions. I've been investing casually for years, and a PM bug, became interested in futures while researching and trying to get a read on the silver futures market, backwardation etc. I found Big Mike's Trading forum awhile ago, and it looks like a super bunch of people, so i'm glad to join and hopefully learn a lot. I downloaded NT recently, went thru all the NT tutorials this past week; i guess that sounds familiar to a few people here.
Thanks to Big Mike for creating a great forum (i know how much work it is).
Cheers!
Donald

I have been lurking here for about a month now so guess its time to say hello. I started with futures four years ago and got lucky as I joined a trading room that cared about teaching and winning trades, as opposed to just taking my money. Stayed with the room for a year while I came up with my own strategy, simmed it for six months and have been trading live ever since. I discovered the Grail about a year ago and its not an indicator but as many here have already said its within myself. I cant give enough praise to futures.io (formerly BMT), just wonderful.

TS Platform Blues

Hello Familytrading. My nose have been to the grinding stone over the past few weeks. My TS platform has "data disconnections" every 5 to 6 minutes. Therefore, I'm unable to do trade simulations. I'm thinking about giving up on TS and use my current platform:Think Or Swim. My problem: I've purchase over $400.00 dollars worth of trading systems that only works on TS. Anyway--I will talk to you later.

Makay

I am also in the Monterey Bar Area and have been trading TS since 2003. Also have been trading for over 40 years and blown up my share of accounts.

Good luck and if you have any questions, just ask.

Familytrading
