Welcome to

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

I'm new to this forum. I started learning about markets 4-5 years ago but managed to fund my account on 2008 and did not blown it yet I'm slowly going into live trading(last 6 months) and realizing what it is all about. It is all about me.
I think trading can help you look into the mirror and see things which you never wanted to see or never be able to see.
Only if you accept that image of yourselves you can make living by trading and maybe change your image in that mirror.
Its amazing.

Hello everyone,
After looking around this site, I can see there is much knowledge to be gained. I look forward to participating here and hope to be able to contribute someday.
I've been actively learning to trade forex for about one year now. Still can't call myself a trader as of yet, but would like to be able to do so by the end of 2011.

For many years I have been a conservative investor focusing in long-term EFTs.

I am taking the FuturesFX ( course which involves lots of study materials (eBooks, slides and videos) and attending the live trading room (LTR) weekdays from 5 am to 9 am PST to watch the instructor trade live in the futures market (usually the Euro-USD and occasionally Crude and the Russell) while he describes and explains what he is doing or has done. I hope to complete the materials next week, after which I will open a SIMulation account for a few weeks to gain confidence before trading real money.

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

Hello everyone.

I've been a position trader for about two years and am currently trying to transition into day trading. I was poking around on the internet when I came across this site and it looked as if it had some good information, so here I am.

Hello everyone!

I have found this forum while looking for NinjaTrader scripting examples and the amount of info in here made me want to inmediately join. Myself, I am starting with NT but have been trading for several years - not enough to show a profit, though.

I hope I can contribute as much as I will be learning...

Hi there ...... first post here

I am a newbie by almost any stretch of the imagination. I am interested in completely automated trading, but even more interested in semi-automated trading.

I have a few pet indicators that I like to use for trade set ups, but these are pretty simple. I have read a few trading books and articles, including Van Tharp's, and I have decided I want to use the computer rather than to get me in to trades automatically, to alert me when it 'sees' a pattern that looks like it will be a good set up, then I want to enter the trade manually, and then use the automated trading function to get me out of the trade, both protective stops to limit losses and reversal stops to protect profits.

My chosen approach will be trend following.

There are some really smart people on this forum, and I am hoping that some of you will be able to give me a hand. Especially as I am possibly the world's worst programmer !!

Thanks for the Excellent Forum!

Hi! Everyone,

I feel privileged to be a member of the BigMike's community. I have been following and reading this forum for couple of weeks now and was impressed with it so I chose to be an elite member. I appreciate all the hard work to maintain it. Moreover, your community has many genius contributors. I strongly believe I shall be learning a lot from all the experienced GURUs.
I am a Medical Doctor by profession and started trading Forex in my free time 3 years ago just for fun. Learnt it the hard way but have been enjoying it and heading towards a right path of financial freedom.
Looking forward to a pleasant journey.

Regards & Good Luck to everyone!
