Hi,

First, thanks for all the great info here. I have been paper trading spot Forex since February and am currently in a
4 month training program via webinars/videos. Trying to get up to speed with Ninja Trader, data feeds and brokers (besides all of the trading systems, psychology, etc.).

Good luck to all!

Hi everyone,
I'm an italian trader, interesting on Euro Stocks and Euro-Bund.
Unfortunately, my english is not so good to have a deep conversation, but I'll try to share more information as possible.
I'm a newbie about Ninja sw, so I'm looking for more information about that software.
Thanks everyone.
Regards,

Domenico

Hi, Mike.

I'm a truck driver and have been trying to learn day trading for the last year or so. I've spent my share of $$$ trying to learn from individuals, but I think the best way to learn is from like-minded groups of folks.

Best regards, Ron

I'm AC,

I've been trading sporadically for a couple years, mainly forex futures. Love the site and the community that has evolved around it.

Trying to feel out the best platform and methods to use.

Cheers

Hello there!

My name is Krzysztof and I'm from Poland. I've been trading successfully for about 2 years now (almost every day) betfair pre-race horse racing markets, but I'm not full-time anyway. Now I mess around with Velocity and X_Trader on FDAX, FGBL and CL. Thanks for the Forum Mike!

Hi Mike,

I am happy to be here and I thank you for your commitment in doing this forum.

I have been working on developing my trading capabilities since 2007 starting with stock's options and later going through intraday trading with forex. At present I am focused just on EUR/USD and with just one trading methodology.

In my experience I found that my mental attitude is the key point that I can summarize in a simple and clear trading methodology, consistency and risk money management.

I discovered that it is crucial to be patient with myself and take the time to build the habit to be consistent and I found that the best (and the hardest) way to do this is through paper trading that it is like working for free.

I found that as soon as I am able to perceive the paper trading as working for free, I am training my mind to focus on what really matter that is the market action and this behavior will produce money as by-product. I think that is cause and effect law in action: the "cause" is the attention at the market action with consistent behaviors and the "effect" is the money that this attention is able to produce (the quantity of money earned is just a numerical measurement of my trading consistency).
This is my current commitment: create this habit of focus my mind just on market action.

Enjoy!

Antonio

Hello Everyone;
I am soveral trading NQ. Been trading futures for 2 years trying every indicator and chat room. It looks like just watching my charts works the best. I use TS and have just hooked up Ninja Trader to the data feed. I hope to contribute some ideas and get some in return.
Thanks Big Mike,
soveral

It is very hard to find serious experienced traders on the internet - most of the forums are dedicated to advertising revenues and time wasters who do not even trade.

Personally, I have no time for those who "sell" information to others, as, I believe that 99% of what is sold to gullible people is useless, and all it really does is prevent them from learning what they actually need to learn about daytrading.

If I agree with what someone posts I will say so, and why I agree - likewise if I do not agree.

A useful debate is never one sided!

Regards,

NYSE
