You are correct. I just checked with my rep at TDA. No Futures in Solo Ks. SEP IRAs are allowed.

Let me know when you get a solo k set up and trading. I tried and didn't succeed. You will find

a lot of brokers restrict what you can invest in a 401k retirement account. A Solo K is still considered an employer account. I spent 3 hours in their local office trying to do It. I went to them because I probably read the same info you are. I was also suprised that once you get past the sales person Interactive Brokers restrict what you can invest in. Those were the first 2 I contacted. As I said their marketing material and reality isn't the same.
